I had my very first persimmon last Thursday. It was magnificent. Ryan and I bought some from Costco on a whim because I couldn't find apples and I am really glad we picked it up.
Ryan made us drinks with a quarter of persimmon muddled lightly into an old fashioned with cinnamon sticks. So. Good. I felt very fancy.
Yesterday we traveled to Minnesota to go see part of our family for the holiday season. Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!
