You know, I think it's really interesting that domestic cats can't roar, but they purr and lions, tigers, and some other large cats can't purr, but they ROAR. Cheetahs are the largest cats that can purr, but they are not able to roar. I saw a king cheetah up close, about ten feet away from me, and they yip. It's adorable. And now you know.
