I figured since Halloween is tomorrow, I also should post all my Halloween Valentines cards as mini prints: Puppy Love, Vision, Love Potion Number 9, Puzzle Pieces, Hands, Foresight, Thriller, and my personal favorite, Breathless. I'm gonna print these out myself and put them around the house for Halloween! And I am going to use them again on Valentines day mwahaha~!

A Poster Fit For A Ryan
Ryan commissioned me to make a motivational poster for him ... so I did. In return I am getting a gameboy 2DS and two games ... one of those games being the new Pokemon game >.>;
I want to print it for him and he wants it in our living room haha right in front of his desk. The thing is ... his desk area is kind of crazy so I don't know if he will even be able to see it. I will take a picture and post when it all happens. I have to get it printed and framed at least by friday or something like that - that's the day I get mah game. :B I will definitely post the friend code when I get it!

I saw this amazing article about Guillermo del Toro and his creative process. You should really check it out when you have time :] I really love all of his movies, even though some of them are terribly sad.

A Plethora of Adventures
I am making a couple of weird doll things haha I am debating between paper or a toy of it. And there are a few plans for it, one being making its outfits actual other forms of currency haha another being I could make a whole line of clothes for them. I dunno what I want to do quite yet, but I think the first logical step is to sculpt him. My friend, Sam, is an awesome sculptor (click the link!) and he is teaching me how to cast and mold toys. :D So once I get something fully sculpted then I can start making resin toys. I am really excited, this has always been a dream for me.
Any way, Ryan wouldn't stop making fun of this little guy and kept saying that he looked like Trogdor.
....
All of Ryan's ridicule brought up trying to recall what Trogdor the Burninator actually looked like (burninating the countryside, burninating the peasa- AHEM sorry) and so this led me to draw Trogdor from memory. :/ Kind of close? I was impressed that I remembered a resemblance of him, although I had Ryan shouting at me "Consummate V's! I said CONSUMMATE!"
Strongbad doesn't care about resemblances though :< I would get an S.

I am at Society6 now! My handle is emptyenvelopes - I just put on my Bird and Hound piece that was from the Game of Throwns: Winter is Coming show!

Texas Toast with a Mustard Mustache
This was a piece that was bought at the show "Texas Toast with a Mustard Mustache" (2"x2") acrylic painting. The family that bought it was really adorable and I hope they love it!

The Comforts of Wonderland
Here is another piece I brought to the show "The Comforts of Wonderland" (2.5"x3.5") gouache painting! I really love making stuff with gouache and traditional media. I forgot how much fun it is and how rewarding it is too.
I knew traditional pieces may be too out of someone's price range so I also made some prints of these and painted over top a few differing details! I did the same with "A Family Portrait" so people can have a one of a kind print if they want as well. I will be doing these in a limited run so make sure to get yours!

APE 2013: And it's a Wrap!
Hey all! APE was awesome and really intense! I am so exhausted, but I met a lot of nice people and saw a lot of amazing art - and sold a lot of art too :] ♥ Thanks to all the people who came by my table and I hope to see you all again next year!
